Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HDme — HD Status WhatsApp (the "App"), operated by Tangerin Labs ("we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The service

HDme helps you optimize photos and videos on your phone for WhatsApp Status limits, then send the result to a WhatsApp chat so you can Forward it to My Status. A share-to-Status fallback may be available when chat delivery is not. The App is for personal, non-commercial use.

HDme is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp Inc. or Meta. WhatsApp is a separate product with its own terms and technical limits. We do not control WhatsApp and we cannot bypass Status length, size, or compression rules.

3. Honest quality promise

HDme is designed to reduce quality loss when WhatsApp re-compresses media. It does not invent HD detail from blurry, already compressed, or low-quality originals. Results vary by device, source file, and WhatsApp's own processing. We do not guarantee identical looks on every phone or that Status will match the preview exactly.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use HDme. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with a parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for complying with WhatsApp's age and account rules as well.

5. Your media and WhatsApp

You keep ownership of photos and videos you pick in the App. You represent that you have the right to process and share that media. Original gallery files stay on your device during optimization. Optimized output may be uploaded briefly so it can be delivered to your WhatsApp chat, then removed, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Chat delivery may require linking a WhatsApp number. You are responsible for pressing Send in WhatsApp and for how you Forward clips to Status. We are not responsible for WhatsApp outages, account bans, or changes Meta makes to Status or the Cloud API.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use HDme for illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Interfere with or attempt to reverse engineer the App or our delivery servers
• Abuse chat delivery, spam WhatsApp numbers, or impersonate others
• Circumvent Status limits, store policies, or other people's rights

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated.

7. Stores and third parties

The App is distributed through Google Play and, when available, the Apple App Store. Purchases, refunds, and store account issues follow those stores' rules. WhatsApp, Firebase, and other third-party services have their own terms. We are not responsible for those services.

8. Intellectual property

The App, name, mascot, and related branding belong to Tangerin Labs. WhatsApp names and logos belong to their owners. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute the App except as allowed by the store license.

9. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Optimization, delivery, and Status appearance are not guaranteed.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tangerin Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost quality, or WhatsApp-related losses, arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use of HDme after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
