This Privacy Policy describes how Pawport ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our pet health passport mobile application. Pawport is operated by Tangerinlabs.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account information: Name, email address.
• Pet data: Pet name, species, breed, health records (vaccines, vet visits, medications), and photos you upload.
• Usage data: App interactions and feature usage, collected via Mixpanel for product improvement.
• Device data: Device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens (for reminders).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and maintain the Pawport app.
• Send push notifications for vaccine and medication reminders.
• Process subscription payments (via RevenueCat, App Store, and Google Play).
• Improve the app using anonymized analytics.

We never sell your data to third parties.

4. AI Symptom Checker Data

When you use the AI Symptom Checker, your pet's species, breed, age, weight, and symptom description are transmitted to OpenRouter, Inc. (openrouter.ai) and processed by Google Gemini AI. No personally identifiable user information about you is included. Data handling is governed by the OpenRouter Privacy Policy (openrouter.ai/privacy) and Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

By using the AI Symptom Checker, you consent to your pet's data being transmitted to these third-party services as described above.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest. Pet photos are stored on Supabase Storage. Supabase servers are located in the United States. We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and file storage.
• OpenRouter / Google Gemini — AI symptom checker.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• OneSignal — push notifications.
• Mixpanel — anonymized analytics.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We choose partners that align with our commitment to user privacy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and pet data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove all associated data within 30 days. Under GDPR, you have the right to request export of your data and the right to deletion.

8. Children's Privacy

Pawport is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your data (via Settings → Export My Data in the app).
